Terms of Service

Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using CourseShop Canada's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and CourseShop Canada, operating in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Digital Products and Services

CourseShop Canada offers digital educational courses for one-time purchase. All courses are delivered electronically and require internet access. Course content is provided "as is" and may be updated or modified at our discretion. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to access purchased course materials.

Payment and Pricing

All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD). Applicable taxes, including GST/HST or PST, will be calculated and displayed at checkout based on your province of residence. Payment is required at the time of purchase. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as indicated on our website.

Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of our products, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis in accordance with Canadian consumer protection laws:

  • Technical Issues: If you cannot access course materials due to technical problems on our end, contact us within 14 days for a full refund
  • Misrepresentation: If course content materially differs from its description, request a refund within 14 days of purchase
  • Change of Mind: Refunds for change of mind are generally not available once course access has been granted, except where required by provincial consumer protection legislation
  • Duplicate Purchase: Contact us immediately if you accidentally purchase the same course twice

To request a refund, email us with your order number and reason for the request. Refunds, when approved, are processed within 10 business days to your original payment method.

Course Access and Lifetime Guarantee

"Lifetime access" means access for as long as CourseShop Canada continues to operate and maintain the course platform. While we intend to provide indefinite access, we reserve the right to discontinue courses with reasonable notice. In such cases, we will provide advance notification and, where feasible, alternative access methods or compensation.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Share, distribute, or resell course materials to third parties
  • Download or copy course content for commercial purposes
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify course materials
  • Use automated systems to access or download course content
  • Circumvent security measures or access restrictions

No Employment or Income Guarantees

Important Notice: CourseShop Canada courses are for educational purposes only. We make no guarantees, representations, or warranties regarding employment opportunities, income potential, career advancement, or financial success resulting from course completion. Individual results vary based on numerous factors beyond our control, including effort, prior knowledge, market conditions, and economic factors. Past success stories or testimonials do not guarantee future results.

Intellectual Property

All course materials, including videos, text, graphics, software, and other content, are the intellectual property of CourseShop Canada or our licensors and are protected by Canadian and international copyright laws. Your purchase grants you a license to use, but not own, the course materials.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CourseShop Canada shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific course.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
